MEMORIES OF WAR
Soldiers from Pittstown and surrounding areas have fought in wars and conflicts since the American Revolution. They recorded their lives in letters, pictures, souvenirs and memorabilia, sent home and carefully saved by loving family and friends. These unique and very personal memories of war will be displayed during the month of May at the Valley Falls Community Hall, 11 Charles St, Valley Falls. The display will be open Tuesdays from 10am-noon and 6pm-8pm and is jointly sponsored by the Village of Valley Falls and the Valley Falls Free Library.
Free and open to all

Dates: April 4th and 18th
Valley Falls Free Library will be hosting an e-reader training class on April 4th, from 6:30-8:00PM at the Valley Falls Community Center. Bring your Kindle, Nook, IPad, etc., and come and learn more about eBooks, eReaders, and how you can check out digital books, audiobooks and movies from the library. Jo-Ann Benedetti of the Upper Hudson Library System explains it all, and introduces us to the digital reading world. Contact Sandi or Kelly if you have any questions, and to register.
